The bag is a rare edition, 35cm and crafted in in brown matt baby crocodile skin with gold hardware. It comes with a box, dust bag, padlock and keys, and bears a 2009 date stamp; its heavy price tag makes it the most expensive bag to ever be sold in the UK. Interested customers may want to note that the bag bears the evidence of being pre-loved; the seller writes that the bag shows “signs of wear to all four corners, slight damage to box lid and slight scuffing to hardware”. She goes on to state that the bag was a gift from her husband, who ordered it in Milan and had it specially flown over to the London Hermès store. She says she mainly wore the bag for special occasions.
