Wheels and Dollbaby launch another Dita Von Teese inspired cardigan

Dita Von Teese is one busy lady! In between amazing burlesque performances, she managed to collaborate with cult Australian brand Wheels and Dollbaby over a luxurious cardigan. Titled “Black Beauty” the limited edition knit is inspired by Dita’s own vintage style with a Peter Pan collar, rose embroidery, ribbon neck tie and black velvet buttons. With only 800 pieces created, these are bound to sell out very soon.

“Dita and I met in London about 12 years ago, and we got to talking and just had similar sensibility,” Wheels and Dollbaby’s Melanie Greensmith told Daily Mail Australia. “I said to her, let’s design something, let’s do a cardigan, it will be fun.” The pair have collaborated over several cardigans since that meeting.

“We have around 20 colors, no people all over the world collect them. People swap them and sell them on eBay,” Greensmith said. “Every time we release a new color it goes crazy. There’ll be another cardgian in June to celebrate Dita coming to Australia. But obviously I can’t tell you the color!” she added.
