Ever heard of a handbag that also doubles as a speaker? Enter Balenciaga’s latest edition does just that! Unveiled in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, the double-duty accessory is an exclusive take on technology and aesthetics.
It features a hard-shell body that opens at the back to reveal a hidden compartment big enough to hold your phone, wallet, and keys. And here’s where things get interesting! The bag’s front features a speaker grill with control buttons placed at the top.
The speaker bag is Bluetooth-enabled for a wireless listening and carrying experience. Comprising a solid block of aluminum, the pearl-based, anodized, and hand-polished edition is made at Bang & Olufsen’s Denmark quarters.
It is limited to just 20 units and features both the marquee’s logos. The bag further comes in two hues – inky black and silver-gray and marks yet another feather in creative director Demna’s hat! Combining Bang & Olufsen’s futuristic vision with Balenciaga’s utilitarian vibe – the speaker bag is available exclusively at the new Balenciaga Couture store in Paris as of now.
