This $193,140 iPhone 16 has an actual yellow-gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona attached to the back panel

Luxury brand Caviar has become synonymous with creating some of the most opulent and over-the-top customized iPhone and other Apple products. With the recent launch of the new iPhone 16, the company has already released a slew of heavily personalized variants of the smartphone, which includes one with a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona fixed to the iPhone’s back panel. Aptly named Daytona, the custom variant is part of Caviar’s Grand Complications series. In fact, Caviar’s Daytona variant isn’t new. The version was launched two years ago after the launch of the iPhone 14. The newest iteration appears to be identical to the original, except for the latest iPhone.

The bedazzled iPhone features a completely customized back panel with a black and gold color combination. The highlight is an actual yellow-gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 116508, which has been neatly integrated into the panel. However, the luxury watch fixed to the back of the iPhone not only comes with a weight penalty but also adds a massive bump to the rear.

But who cares when you have the ultimate flex of boasting a highly desirable Cosmograph fixed to your iPhone? The Rolex, with its black and gold dial studded with 8 diamonds, is just beautiful to look at. Sadly, we can’t say the same for the gilded iPhone.

In addition to the Rolex, Caviar also added faux gauges and toggle switches as a nod to the timepiece’s heritage that is linked to car racing. According to Caviar, the switches and dials are inspired by racing cars of the 1930s, including Sir Malcolm Campbell’s iconic Blue Bird, which set a world speed record on the Daytona race track. The black panel features a honeycomb pattern to add a modern twist to the creation. The pricing of the iPhone 16 Daytona starts at $193,140.

However, you’ll be surprised that you only get the 128GB version of the iPhone 16 Pro at that price. You’ll have to shell out another $1500 for the range-topping iPhone 16 Pro Max 1 Tb version. But that’s not the most expensive custom iPhone 16 by Caviar, either. That title goes to the Diamond Snowflake White Gold version, which has a starting price north of $570,000. Crazy, right?
