LG has finally got its sexy Android kitty out of the bag by officially announcing the LG Prada 3.0 handset. This one is the third addition to their elite Prada range, which started with the first LG Prada touchscreen phone back in 2007. Needless to say, the 3.0 handset here has a huge premium placed on the design elements. The Android-driven fashion smartphone is super thin at 8.5mm and feels impressively airy in hand. The back of the phone has a textured gauze pattern, which reminds one of Prada’s patented Saffiano leather, seen on Prada clutch bags and wallets.
Under the 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen that Corning’s Gorilla Glass protects, we have a 1GHz dual-core OMAP 4430 processor, Gingerbread version 2.3.7, 8GB storage, expandable by microSD, a decent-sized 1540mAh battery, and an eight-megapixel auto-focus camera with 1080p video capture. Besides the design, the monochrome custom user interface, too, will leave you impressed here.
No word on pricing and tariff details but a little rumor bird tells us it could be sometime in January. Until then, feast on the pictures here.
