One-off Leica M camera will be designed by Apple’s Jonathan Ive

After Paul Smith added his dash of enterprise to a Leica, it is now Apple’s iPhone designer, Jony Ive, to add his insignia to the Leica. Ive will be making a single limited edition model of the Leica M and help support a noble cause. The camera is supposed to go up for a charity auction that will feature globally prominent philanthropist Bono from U2. The Leica M features a 24 megapixel with full 35mm format based on the CMOS rangefinder that was announced just yesterday along with X2 line. Jony Ive will surely bring in an exciting flavor to the camera, which can be believed to be Leica’s first consumer-electronics-designer collaboration. We cannot wait for Jony to reveal his design, but in the meanwhile, we pleasure ourselves with the concepts that will release preceding it.
