Solid Gold iPad Supreme Edition is world’s most expensive iPad

We’ve seen crystal-studded and diamond-encrusted iPads since its evolution and now it’s time to announce about the world’s first solid gold and diamond iPad. Designed by Katherine Hughes (Stuart Hughes’ better half and partner), this solid Gold iPad Supreme Edition is caked with 25.5 cts diamonds with a total of up to 53 sparkling rocks on the solid 22ct Apple logo at the rear. It is worth its weight in gold literally as the rear and the screen surround is shaped out of a single piece of 2.1 kg of 22ct gold. All this solid bling lends it the title of the World’s most expensive iPad. This bejeweled iPad is the Wi-Fi & 3G, 64GB version, and only ten such units will be rolled out for wealthy geeks. Priced at £129,995 ($162,000), it is availed from today onwards.
