KFC, yes that KFC is launching a 11 course degustation menu and it will be cooked by professional chefs


You’d probably think of KFC only for a quick bite of delicious junk. However, in stirring things up a bit, the fast-food giant has recently announced plans to launch a 11-course menu at its novel fine-dine degustation in Australia that is anything but casual!


Developed in partnership with Nelly Robinson, chef patron and owner of Sydney restaurant nel., the lavish 11-course dinner will be offered at a secret venue in Sydney for three nights, running from April 1 until April 3.


Commenting on the dining experience, Robinson said, “Creating an 11-course degustation with their most-loved menu items and elevating them to new heights has been a dream come true. For the menu, I’ve taken 11 KFC dishes and reimagined how the flavors and textures come to life using my expertise in degustation menus to truly blow fans away.”

He further added, “‘We have crafted a high-end dining adventure, just like guests would find at my degustation restaurant. So, we can’t wait to see their reactions to each of the devilishly good dishes… We’ve pulled out all the stops to make it a magical moment and one that our guests will never forget.”


Fans will be able to get their hands on supercharged wings, cooked over a bed of charcoal; potato and gravy served as a wax candle; popcorn chicken paired with gnocchi and celeriac soup; drumsticks dusted with quinoa and gold; the famous chicken twisters with pearl barley risotto, sundried tomato, pumpkin and a lot more!

To end things on a sweet note, there’s decadent chocolate Mousse that comes dipped in nitrogen with the mouthfuls described as ‘oh-so-good’ and ‘literally melt in your mouth.’ The experience is priced at $75 per person, with sittings to be held from 5.00 pm to 8.30 pm over the weekend commencing Friday, April 1, at a secret venue in Sydney’s Alexandria.


The 11-course meal is further the brand’s first, with 100percent of the profits going to its charity partners: The Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia, and Whitelion.
