The grandest decanter of all – Maison Hennessy has unveiled a $710,000 Dame Jeann

Hennessy has introduced its most luxurious edition to date – the Dame Jeanne decanter, crafted by celebrated French plumassière, Nelly Saunier. The artistic piece is one of its kind and fitting for any celebration or special occasion.

It takes inspiration from Saunier’s personal passion for nature and birds and features the most magnificent of feathered creatures such as martin pêcheur, tragopan, and rollier d’abyssinie. It is adorned with gilded gold cock feathers and is served alongside 10 filled decanters and boxes.

The fine cognac that it is presented with is eighth-generation Master Blender, Renaud Fillioux De Gironde’s masterpiece. It has been matured in oak barrels and subsequently bottled in glass to prevent aging. The concoction features hints of spice bread, panettone, and marmalade and comes in ten one-quart bottles, also matching Saunier’s aesthetic.

The Dame Jeanne decanter will be sold exclusively at the Hennessy Boutique at Harrods, which opened this summer and can be accessed on the lower ground floor of the luxury department store. It costs a whopping $709,780, however, given its exquisite nature, the price is hardly debatable!
