Most people are often willing to spend top dollar on items that act as status symbols, but would you be willing to shell out the big bucks for an object that lives out its life in your nightstand drawer? Australian jeweler Colin Burn certainly wants you to. Burn has created the Pearl Royale, a diamond-studded vibrator priced at a whopping $1 million.
“My inspiration was to create something that shows the value people place on sex,” Burn told The Post. “[People] spend lots of money for the experiences of owning Maseratis and the like. But would they pay for this?” Would they indeed. The toy has a platinum body that is embedded with 2,000 diamonds, royal-blue sapphires, and pink diamonds. The device is powered by two motors but to use it, you need a platinum key that starts up the toy.
This larger than life toy will eventually be presented with its own wall-mountable display box; so if the nightstand drawer is not good enough for you, you’ll have a special display case to flaunt the source of all those million-dollar orgasms.
