What’s in the world’s largest and most expensive joint? A full pound of weed and $5000 worth of gold


When you think of items being auctioned off to benefit a wildlife charity, you might imagine a cuddle stuffed animal or a safari trip in the lot, but Stone Road Farms knows what people really want. The L.A. based cannabis company actually put a 3-foot-long joint on the auction block. That’s right, the world’s largest joint was just sold with the proceeds going to the African Wildlife Foundation.

This giant joint contains a full pound of weed, not to mention 6 ounces of concentrate and 2 ounces of bubble hash. But that’s not all, this tusk shaped cigarette is wrapped in rolling papers made of 24-karat gold leaf worth a whopping $5,000. It was commissioned by Stone Road founder Lex Corwin. “Smoking this would definitely be a multiday endeavor,” Corwin told HuffPost. “After three or four hits, you’d be couch-locked.”

Corwin explained his contribution saying, “They’re training German shepherds to chase after poachers, and that’s definitely something we want to be a part of.” According to Corwin, the joint was worth $24k but it brought in $4,000 at the auction. “Everything was donated, and the person who bought it is my biggest investor, so it’s staying in the family,” Corwin said. He plans to smoke the larger than life joint on video.
