There is no dearth of luxe homes in California! And boasting theirs are Dan Houser and Krystyna Jakubiak. The duo recently purchased a mansion in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood that is touted to be priced at a whopping $31 million. Yes, that’s right!
The still-under-construction property sits atop a bluff and features panoramic views of the ocean and exotic white waters stretching from the Palos Verdes Peninsula to Malibu. On completion, it is expected to boast nine bedrooms and 13 baths in almost 14,000 square feet providing automated walls of glass throughout.
The three-story structure will further feature an expansive great room with a wet bar and massive two-way fireplace, as well as a family room, and sleek Italian kitchen hosting a casual dining area, formal dining room, and wine wall.
Other amenities will include a master retreat outfitted with an indoor-outdoor seating area, fireplace, dual closets, and spa-inspired baths along with a movie theater, game room, another wet bar, wine room, gym, sauna, and five-car display garage.
On the outside, the gorgeous home will have expansive gardens for entertaining as well as an al fresco “living room,” spa, and zero-edge pool. The home originally belonged to Japanese hotelier Hiroshi Yasuno and was purchased by Houser only recently.
Houser, who has made much of his fortune from the ‘Grand Theft Auto’ franchise also owns a pair of oceanfront homes in Los Angeles and a $13 million mansion in New York City’s posh Brooklyn Heights neighborhood.
