Exes shouldn’t be friends, but they can sure be neighbors! And it’s not us but renowned rapper Kanye West who may be of this notion as he recently purchased a house worth $4.5 across the lane from his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. Yes, that’s right! The relatively modest Hidden Hills estate is just over 3,650 square feet and has five bedrooms. It also comes with a swimming pool and a stable amongst a fleet of other notable amenities. However, it’s not the home that’s drawing attention as much as the fact that it is situated in Kim’s neighborhood!
The purchase was made just two months after he listed his $3.7 million, 4,200 square-foot, former bachelor pad in the gated community and just two weeks after Kim filed to be declared legally single. The rapper recently also begged for his estranged wife to ‘run back’ to him at his Larry Hoover benefit concert with Drake last week.
In his performance, West was seen improvising his lines to read, ‘I need you to run right back to me, more specifically Kimberly,’ In a recent interview, he also referred to Kim as his wife stating, ‘SNL making my wife say, “I divorced him” on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off. And I ain’t never even seen the papers; we’re not even divorced.’
However, Kim has already filed for separation and is ready to start a new life. The court documents to this effect read, ‘I have requested several times that [Kanye] agree to bifurcate and terminate our marital status. [He] has not responded to my request.’ [Kanye] and I both deserve the opportunity to build new lives. Therefore, I am asking that my request to bifurcate and terminate our marital status be granted.’
Either ways, with West moving close to Kim as far as homes are concerned, it will be interesting to see how the events unfold in the future!
