The luxe aesthetics are all penned by Florence-based architectural studio Archea Associati that will weave in a layer of sustainability in the development. The marina will depend on solar panels, rainwater recovery systems, and natural elements, such as trees and hedges to replace fencing among its eco-friendly measures. “Livorno is delighted to have its own marina,” said Livorno city mayor Luca Salvetti. “After 16 years, the procedure to effectively grant the concession was finalized. As a result, work will soon begin on the construction of the marina, enriching a part of Livorno that connects the city center to the seafront.” Nicolo Caffo, general manager of D-Marin Italia, added: “D-Marin believes strongly in Livorno. It will be one of the most prestigious marinas in the Mediterranean, built on shared values aligned on premium customer experiences, commercial excellence, sustainability commitments, and innovations.”
