It wouldn’t be amiss to say that Supercar Ron has goated himself with his latest Instagram post. That’s because the Utah influencer has done something no other hypercar owner is likely to repeat anytime soon – giving a couple of goats a joy ride in a $3 million, 1-of-85 units hypercar. Brad Bonham, better known as Supercar Ron, made the news earlier this year for becoming the first North American delivery of the limited-edition Aston Martin.
It’s safe to say he isn’t a car collector who shies away from actually driving his cars, even when there’s snow on the roads. Though some would likely argue that putting a couple of goats in the passenger seat is far from a necessary move.
The influencer, whose $17 million garage also includes the likes of a Ferrari F40 LM, a couple of Lamborghini Murcielagos, a Ford GT, and a Lexus LFA, to name a few, has raised the bar when it comes to social media clout.
The jokes write themselves with this move, making Supercar Ron the greatest of all time, the GOAT of goats, if you will. That’s because the Aston Martin Valkyrie, even in the world of hypercars, stands out with its staggering maintenance costs. Car collector Manny Khoshbin is reported to have passed on the very car Supercar Ron took delivery of because he was scared away by the Valkyrie’s $500,000 maintenance costs for as little as three years of ownership.
For Supercar Ron though, the Valkyrie’s 1,176 horsepower, 217mph top speed, and 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds stats aren’t what have made headlines. It’s that the Valkyrie Spider can also fit not one but two goats in the passenger seat, which is definitely a first. Probably the last, too.
