The first luxury hotel is all set to open doors on Dubai’s $15 billion World Islands

Dubai stumps the world every now and then with its top-in-class architectural ideas. And one of them is the World Islands that sits 2.5 miles off the coast of the Emirati land in the Persian Gulf and daintily replicates the globe in miniature. And the cluster of Islands is now set to get its first luxury hotel – the five-star Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort. Developed by Seven Tides, it features a 2,000 square meter private beach and is touted to become ‘one of the most sought-after leisure and lifestyle destinations in the Middle East, if not the world.’

Commenting on it, Seven Tides CEO Abdulla Bin Sulayem, in a statement, said, “Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort will offer genuine island tranquility despite its proximity to major retail destinations, gourmet restaurants, golf courses, and the emirate’s lively nightlife.” He further added, “Work on the island is advancing quickly. Creating an island resort does not come without its challenges; however, thanks to the expertise of all involved, we look forward to showcasing this unique development in December when we officially open to the public.”

It houses 70 rooms, suites, and villas, with the latter featuring a private pool, an outdoor dining area, and direct access to the beach. In addition to that, In-room spa treatments, a gym, and a kids’ club will also be on offer for the guests.

Coming to gastronomy, the development will include a Mediterranean alfresco restaurant and an Arabic-Indian dining venue offering barbecues on the beach. Those in a mood to sip on wine can instead visit a lounge bar that also provides stunning views of the Dubai skyline.
