Breitling has collaborated with Triumph for a pair of beautiful limited-edition chronographs and a motorcycle

Breitling has teamed up with British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph to introduce a pair of special edition Top Time chronographs that pay tribute to the café racer culture of the 1960s. The watchmaker said the two retro-modern timepieces, Breitling Top Time Triumph and the Breitling Top Time Triumph Speed Twin Owners’ Limited Edition, are inspired by the classic 1951 Triumph Thunderbird 6T. Both the co-branded timepieces feature a very clean vintage styling that looks very appealing. The watches also share the same 41mm stainless steel case with a polished finish, thin bezel, and straight lugs. Furthermore, the tall piston pushers only add to the overall elegance of the design.

Both the special editions use the same dial layout and design, which includes a Tiffany blue finish that’s slightly inclined towards the ice blue shade. The signature rounded square subdials get a matte black treatment, contrasting the ice blue dial. The Triumph Union Jack emblem can be found at 6 o’clock and goes well with the look of the special edition watches. The pair of Triumph watches are powered by the same Valjoux 7753-based Caliber 23 automatic chronograph movement that boasts COSC chronometer-certified accuracy and 48 hours of power reserve.

The timepieces also come with special caseback designs with a sketch-style engraving of Triumph’s straight-twin motorcycle engine. The Top Time Triumph Speed Twin Owners’ Limited Edition additionally comes with individually numbered marking on the caseback. A black calfskin rally strap with white contrast stitching and deployant clasp completes the look. The Breitling Top Time Triumph Speed Twin Owners’ Limited Edition is limited to just 270 examples and can only be had by buyers of the new Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Limited Edition motorcycle for $5700. The limited-edition motorbike also spawned out of the collaboration wears the same color scheme of black and ice blue along with hand-painted coach line detailing. The special edition is also limited to 270 examples, each with an individually numbered handlebar clamp, and is priced at $18,300. The standard Breitling Top Time Triumph watch can be bought by anyone and carries a price tag of $5500.
