The “Aluminum GMT” model features a glowing arrow-shaped hand for time-reading and two peculiar 12-hour zones in black and yellow for distinguishing between day and night. The color palette is inspired by the iconic vessel and can be seen in the rest of its elements as well.
Taking after the Vespucci’s gilded black railings, the watch’s hand independently adjusts when the titanium crown is moved to its second position. Further, the Super-LumiNova®-coated hour-markers and white hands intend to evoke memories of starry nights guiding sailors.
As per the watch’s release, its titanium case back bears the signature “Nave Scuola Amerigo Vespucci” and its engraved motto, while the articulated rubber strap, a characteristic element of the Bulgari Aluminum models, meets the dual requirement of robustness and flexibility while enabling all kinds of audacity in this watch intended for natural-born explorers.
