Go around the world with the Bvlgari Bvlgari Cities Special Edition 2020 watches

Italian luxury brand Bulgari has revealed its latest limited-edition watch collection, the 2020 “BB Cities” (Bulgari Bulgari Cities) – a line of nine watches based on the iconic Bulgari Bulgari collection. Each of the nine versions of the BB Cities collection is the themed around a different city with its name etched on the bezel. The cities around which the limited-edition watches are themed around are Rome, Dubai, Tokyo, Paris, London, Ibiza, Milano, Mexico City, and New York City. It actually harks back to the original Bulgari Bulgari timepiece created in 1975. The timepiece had “Bulgari” and “ROMA” mentioned on the dial to signify the founding city of the brand. To make the watch even more special, Bulgari got young artists from each of the cities to come up with 12 art pieces. The choice of 12 prints is a nod to the 12 hours on the dial. The buyer will receive prints of each of the 12 limited-edition artworks created for that specific city.

As far as the aesthetics of the new BB Cities line goes, each timepiece comes in a 41mm stainless steel case that has been coated with a black DLC treatment. The dark theme is continued onto the black lacquered and grained dial which is beautifully contrasted with rose gold indices, hands, and the crown. Powering the timepiece is the manufacture BVL 191 automatic caliber that offers a power reserve of 42 hours. Each BB Cities watch comes with a brown calf leather strap along with a “textile textures” black rubber strap offered as a sportier option. Bulgari hasn’t said how many examples of the limited-edition watches will be made in total. If you want one, the Bulgari BB Cities watch will cost you 4,250 Euros (about $4600 USD).
