A perfect film is a number of small scenes stitched together with a credible plot; a perfect orchestra is one where each player not only has perfect control over their own instrument but also exists in harmony with others. Bulgari’s perfect watch is like a perfect puzzle where every component serves both a technical and aesthetic function. This expression is clearer than ever in the brand’s Octo Finissimo Skeleton Titanium watch which is a symphony of elements which form a movement so delicately precise that light passes through it like the most elaborate of lattices.
The watch is powered by the in-house mechanical hand-wound Calibre BVL 128SK which has been stripped down to bare essentials and compressed to a thickness of just 2.35 mm making it one of the thinnest in the world. It beats at 28,800 vph and displays the hours, minutes and small seconds, as well as the power-reserve indication (65h).
