Graff’s newest watch is stitched with diamond ‘thread’

Creating watches emblazoned with diamonds is not new for Graff However, this time around, the marquee has taken to the precious gem from scratch as can be seen in the brand-new high jewelry watch which is stitched in place with a unique Diamond ‘Thread’. Yes, that’s right. The latest accessory forms part of the Threads jewelry collection and is quite unlike anything else that we have seen before.

As stated by Anne-Eva Geffroy, design director at Graff, the watch is Inspired by the increasingly connected nature of modern society. It is designed to look as if it is woven together in a latticework of gold set with diamonds that resemble random threads. The piece’s exquisite geometric stitch features 5.85 carats of the finest colorless diamonds, in both brilliant as well as baguette cut that together represent a precious thread that seems to bring it all together.

While the Diamond Threads Watch can perfectly be worn by itself, those willing to splurge further can o opt for other complimenting pieces in the collection such as the line bracelets, drop earrings, rings and necklaces in the same abstract composition, with diamonds set at different angles. While commenting on the ensemble, Geffory also said, “Each piece in the Threads collection rests like a diamond lattice upon the skin. The sleek lines of the custom cut diamonds accentuate the graphic silhouette of the jewels and timepiece.” Well, we couldn’t have agreed more with her!
