Pre-Baselworld 2017: Hublot introduces Spirit Of Big Bang Moonphase in four vibrant colors


2017 edition of Baselworld is upon us and Luxurylaunches will be extensively covering the show and the deluge of new timepieces showcased by the world’s leading watchmakers. Day before yesterday was the first day of spring, and before we know it, it will be time for summer. Hublot has given its Spirit Of Big Bang Moonphase timepiece a trendy colorful treatment to match the mood of the summer season. The newer Hublot Spirit Of Big Bang Moonphase with the 42mm case, which was only available in titanium and the 18K King Gold versions, can now be bought in the vibrant shades of blue, purple, orange and pink.


According to Hublot, they infused the season’s on-trend colors into their Hublot Spirit Of Big Bang Moonphase and created the shades of ‘indigo blue for denim lovers, bold purple for an ultraviolet look, vibrant orange for an upbeat take on time and bubblegum pink for a rose-tinted outlook.’ The 42 mm tonneau case houses the openworked architecture of the HUB1770 hand-wound skeleton movement is enhanced by a quartz dial made from silicon dioxide (SiO2) and aluminum oxide (AI2O3) melted at high temperature. The bezel is set with 48 blue, orange or pink sapphires, or amethysts. The strap, in alligator stitched onto natural black rubber, perfectly matches the four colors of the watch. The Spirit of Big Bang Moonphase has a power reserve of 50 hours.
