RJ introduces new Pac-Man Level III watch

Continuing with its tradition of creating playful timepieces inspired by iconic video games, watchmaker RJ (Romain Jerome) has collaborated with Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. again to release a third Pac-Man watch. Called the Level III, the timepiece, as the name suggests, is the third Pac-Man inspired watch by RJ. Unlike the previous iterations, the Level III watch features black dial with a mirror-polished finish. The 46 mm titanium case of watch comes with an automatic rewinding movement, allowing the hours and the minutes to be read in the middle. The polished titanium bezel reveals the game’s scene depicted on the dial by 27 components crafted by hand that are separated into three levels.

In the watch, the blue aluminum that surrounds the maze is sanded on the edges and polished on top. The raised walls were filled with black lacquer to heighten the 3D effect. The watch arrives on blue rubber strap that matches the blue accents on the dial. The RJ Level III will be available starting June 2018. It is limited to just 80 units, but the price hasn’t been disclosed as of yet.
