Winter is indeed coming! And what better way to warm ourselves than to enjoy a glass of scotch while we await the upcoming season of the GOT! In gracing the 8th stint of the series, HBO has partnered with Premium whiskey manufacturer Johnnie Walker to create a fitting collection that comes wholly inspired by the fantasy drama.
First up from the ensemble is the ‘White Walker’, a scotch that pays a fitting tribute to all things GOT. The limited-edition whisky boasts notes of caramelized sugar, vanilla, fresh red berries, and a touch of orchard fruit and is best served directly from the freezer. It reveals an icy design on the exterior and entails a rather strong 41.7% ABV blend of Scottish single malts in its 750 ml decanter. As per a press release, “the limited-edition whiskies (including the White Walker and more) are inspired by the iconic characters and the creative world of Westeros and beyond and are here to tide fans over during their wait for the eighth and final season.”
In addition to the White Walker, the brand will introduce the remaining editions from Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection in November, with eight different scotches, each paired to a different House of Westeros and the Night’s Watch. Prices for the GOT-inspired Johnnie Walker editions will range anywhere between $29.99 to 64.99 and can be bought off select stores as well as online.
