Soaring 67 stories high, Miami will be home to the first Mercedes-Benz residential tower in the US.

Mercedes-Benz, Miami, magnificence, what’s not to like about that, right? Mercedes-Benz Places will make Miami home as the first 67-story mixed-use building in the US from the Mercedes Benz stable. Located in Brickell, the skyscraper, created in collaboration with SHoP Architects, is slated to open in 2027. It will be constructed by the respected JDS Development Group and with a 2.5 million square feet area, will be one of the largest projects under construction in Florida.

Expectations are nearly as high as the tower itself for the Mercedes-Benz inaugural real estate venture in Dubai did make quite the impression. The mixed-use tower at 1 Southside Park in Brickell will feature a whopping 791 homes starting at $550,000 for studios and a cool $4 million for a three-bedroom abode.

The renderings also reveal curved-corner balconies on each floor of the building with larger terraces tucked between spaces. Details are scarce at this point but Mercedes Benz Places will offer office space, health and fitness facilities, a 174-key hotel, retail space in a parcel of 200,000 square feet, and 130,000 square feet of amenities.

“Our distinctive style is Sensual Purity,” said Mercedes-Benz chief design officer Gordan Wagener. “This philosophy, based on the duality of emotion and intelligence, consists of a hot and a cool pole.” “The emotional side of Sensual Purity is characterized by free-flowing, elliptical lines and shapes inspired by nature,” added the team.

The tall cube-shaped tower will be an imposing ode to the German car brand with a technical silver color, monochromatic details, and a massive Mercedes-Benz logo at the building’s entrance. It sounds like the Brickell neighborhood is gearing for a glamorous makeover with foundation work having broken ground and occupancy planned to start in 2027.
