Just days after Brazil announced plans to build the world’s tallest residential skyscraper, a developer in Dubai revealed an even taller tower, featuring the world’s highest rainforest, tallest penthouse, highest infinity pool, and even a roller coaster.

Dubai and skyscrapers are like ships and the sea; they belong together and complement each other seamlessly. Even the most extravagant structures feel right at home in the city’s skyline. Joining the array of megatowers is the Tiger Sky Tower, set to be the tallest residential building in the world, developed by UAE’s Tiger Properties. Located in Business Bay, this $1 billion tower is planned to rise 1,745 feet with 122 expansive floors.

Even before its completion, the Tiger Sky Tower is poised to surpass the competition. Brazil’s tallest residential skyscraper, the Senna Tower, named in honor of legendary Formula One driver Ayrton Senna, had held the title of the world’s tallest upcoming residential tower. However, at 509 meters (1,670 feet), it will fall short by just a few feet. The crowning glory of the Tiger Sky Tower will be the world’s tallest penthouse, situated at 427 meters (1,400 feet), offering the most breathtaking views of Dubai.

The tower will also feature remarkable amenities, including the highest infinity pool, an indoor rainforest, and a zipline. For the daredevils, this zipline promises a heart-pounding experience at a height taller than the Empire State Building, whisking adventurers over the highest rainforest ever built inside a residential building, per New Atlas.

Standing at 1,745 feet, the Tiger Sky Tower guarantees spectacular views from every corner. With a state-of-the-art gym, spa, barbecue areas, jogging track, and podium pool spread across its 122 floors, residents can enjoy Dubai’s iconic skyline in all its glory. The $1 billion high-rise will house 18 penthouses and 849 apartments, with prices starting at $700,000. The under-construction tower is expected to be completed by 2029.
