Not only did Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, pay Justin Bieber $10 million to perform at his son Anant’s pre-wedding function, but he also sent his $1.2 million bulletproof Mercedes limousine along with a convoy of armed guards in Range Rovers to pick the singer up from the airport.

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of the richest man in Asia, Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of Indian industrialist Viren Merchant, are set to get married on July 12. Pop sensation Justin Bieber arrived in Mumbai, India, on Thursday to perform at their grand wedding celebrations. The globally popular music artist was snapped by the paparazzi on Thursday morning as he landed at the Mumbai airport.

In a video shared on Instagram, a gold-colored bulletproof Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard from the Ambani garage can be seen arriving at the airport to pick up Bieber from the private jet terminal, suggesting the pop star was flown into India in a private aircraft. The convoy of cars also included several Range Rovers carrying security personnel to protect the 30-year-old singer.

Sources claim that Justin Bieber would be performing at a pre-wedding function of Anant and Radhika, set to take place on July 5 at the Grand theater of NMACC. Modeled on Hollywood’s Dolby Theater, it’s a stunning 2,000-seat venue that features a bespoke Swarovski ceiling and a state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos sound system. According to several media reports, Bieber took somewhere around $10 million to perform at the function. If that’s true, the Canadian superstar has charged more than international pop sensations like Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Akon, who have performed at the previous two grand pre-wedding celebrations. Reportedly, Rihanna’s fee for her performance was somewhere between $8-$9 million, while Akon charged under $500,000.

However, Bieber won’t be the only artist to entertain those attending the upcoming wedding. There is a buzz in the town that the couple is in talks with Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey. The world-renowned singers might soon arrive in India to perform at the wedding celebrations, per some reports.
