Everyone knows Kylie Jenner is the world’s youngest self-made billionaire. She owns a fleet of supercars (each coming close to $300k), a private jet (nearly $73 million); Her makeup company is valued at $1.2 billion and lives pretty much like a modern-era queen in her palatial mansions fitted with massive color-coded handbag closet valued at $1 million. So when someone of her stature urges fans on social media to donate to a friend’s GoFundMe campaign set up to help pay for the medical bills, she is bound to get criticized. Fans are outraged at her actions, and Jenner faces a backlash as the beauty mogul could have supported her makeup artist’s emergency medical expenses with the utmost ease. The crowdfunding campaign was set up for Samuel Rauda, who underwent major surgery on March 14 following an accident, of which a measly $5,000 of which came from a donor listed as Kylie Jenner. The goal is currently $120,000, with donations having reached more than $97,000 at publishing. She may no longer be a billionaire as per Forbes’s recent declaration, but she leads a pretty lifestyle, and her recent call for help left Twitter confused.
One user commented, “Kylie Jenner is asking her non-billionaire fans for money to pay for her makeup artists/friends’ ($60k) surgery? When she earns $456k a day? Another confused fan, @kaileighmakanii, said, “Why is Kylie Jenner asking fans to pay her for friends brain surgery through GoFundMe when she’s a literal billionaire?!?!? I’m honestly confused.” It is not known if Jenner has made any private contribution to the medical bills.
