Lady Gaga to go aboard the Virgin Galactic to perform the first concert in outer space

First Virgin Galactic inaugurated the Spaceport in New Mexico. A string of space-stricken stories came next. From a trip to space with Leonardo DiCaprio to NBC offering space travel to a winner of their reality show. Following all this hoopla is this even greater hoopla-inducing news. The first-ever concert in space is set to take place. Performing, there is none other than lady Gaga or, as some might now say, our very own musical mascot for space.

As part of Zero G Colony, a three-day music festival, the ‘Poker face’ hit maker’s musical talent is about to hit a boundless three-dimensional extent. Gaga will perform at Spaceport America leading up to the grand finale. “On the third day of the event, Lady Gaga will take off from the Spaceport aboard a Virgin Galactic SpaceShip Two spacecraft,” said a source. “Upon reaching space, she will become the first ever recording artist to perform outside the atmosphere, in zero gravity.”

Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters must sure await this grand spectacle set for early 2015. But besides the added Gaga-ness to Virgin Galactic’s $200,000 trip, the event will feature a mix of cutting-edge technology and enthralling entertainment.
