Martha Stewart drove her Aston Martin DB9 to deliver eggs during the Coronavirus outbreak

With the coronavirus outbreak, most countries across the world have asked its citizens to stay at home – something which is completely unprecedented, at least in the recent history. This has led to people sharing their daily routine on social media, especially celebs posting pictures of doing daily chores and running errands. Martha Stewart took to Instagram to show the world that she has been moonlighting as a delivery person during New York’s coronavirus closures. The cooking expert and lifestyle guru posted a picture on the social media platform of her delivering eggs to her friend’s house fresh from her farm. The delivery vehicle of her choice? A 15-year-old Aston Martin DB9.

Martha Stewart is usually spotted in her Mercedes-GLS, but the homemaking tycoon is a known car aficionado. “It’s about 15 years old, standard shift, not a very good radio, but the car sounds great, drives like a dream once you master the gears, Martha wrote in the description. She also mentioned that the Aston mostly sits covered in the carport. She also said she dropped the eggs off at the curb to maintain social distancing. The DB9 was in production from 2003 until 2016 and it is often considered as one of the most beautiful cars ever made – a design penned by Ian Callum. The GT is powered by a 5.9-liter V-12 engine, and we don’t really blame Martha for wanting to hear the beast roar during this forced period of social isolation.
