In a mood to splurge, Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, treated himself to two new toys for $150 million.

Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, the richest person in Asia and one of the wealthiest globally, and his family are known for their lavish lifestyle, which often garners media attention. When it comes to pomp and extravagance, the Ambani family is second to none. Their residence in Mumbai, India, is believed to be the second most expensive private house in the world. Named Antilia, the skyscraper is estimated to be worth $2 billion.

In addition to spending millions of dollars on headline-grabbing weddings and some of the most lavish parties, the family is famous for its obsession with luxury cars and other uber-expensive things like yachts and airplanes. Over the last few weeks, the Ambani family spent close to $150 million on acquiring two new toys.

Mukesh Ambani got his 10th Rolls Royce Cullinan

The Ambani family’s love for Rolls-Royce Cullinans is well known. The family has regularly added some of the most expensive and heavily personalized Cullinans to their collection ever since the luxury SUV was introduced by Rolls-Royce. It’s hardly a surprise that the first Cullinan Series II in India was acquired by the Ambanies. It’s the 10th Cullinan to join the family’s car collection. However, what’s interesting is that the billionaire family received the brand-new Cullinan several days before it was officially launched in India.

Finished in pearl white, the Cullinan Series II was recently spotted on the roads of Mumbai, accompanied by the Ambani family’s famous fleet of security vehicles, which includes at least six Mercedes-AMG G53s.

Interestingly, unlike the previous Rolls-Royce SUVs purchased by the Ambani family, the newest to join their garage is a regular Cullinan and not a Black Badge version. We are unaware of the level of personalization on their latest toy, but the Series II has a starting price of around $1.3 million in India.

Another interesting thing we noticed on the new Cullinan is its license plate, which has EV 1 at the end. Many believe that it’s a sly dig and electric cars and their green credentials. While the Ambani family, through Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), manages one of the largest and most diversified business conglomerates in India, their petrochemical business is still the most crucial part of their operations.

With a capacity of 1.2 million barrels per day.

Reliance Industries operates the worlds largest single site refinery at Jamnagar, India.
In fact, RIL is one of the world’s largest producers of various petrochemicals. The family car collection is almost entirely comprised of gas guzzlers. Furthermore, they continue to add the combustion-engine models by Rolls-Royce instead of getting the automaker’s EV, Spectre.

Some reports suggest Ambani’s 737 has a price tag close to $150 million. The custom-configured aircraft recently underwent expensive cabin customizations and other upgrades in Switzerland. The Boeing 737 Max 9 is the largest member of the BBJ Max family, with a cabin floor area of 1,120 sq ft.

There’s no information on the cabin layout and the customizations received by the aircraft, but we expect it to be the best money can buy, considering it’s owned by the Ambanies.
