Swarovski manicures, fast Jaguar cars and Versace clothes – This is how Dua Lipa the gorgeous 25 year old pop sensation spends her millions

Last year might have been cancelled in the minds of many, but for Dua Lipa it was a year of new highs – most notably her bank balance. The 25-year-old pop star reportedly made north of US$30 million in the 12 months up to April 2020 alone, doubling her worth as well as her spending power. Here’s what the “Future Nostalgia” singer has been splashing out on when she’s not busy writing irresistible pandemic anthems.

Designer wardrobe
Lipa’s signature style has set her apart since the very start; she rocks everything from baggy trousers with skin-tight crop tops to elegant haute couture gowns. Experimental, eye-catching and usually very expensive, you can count on her wardrobe to mix and match luxury brands, like Chanel and Versace, with lesser known indie designers. Her current obsession appears to be the avant garde Richard Quinn x Moncler collaboration, with Twiggy-inspired puffer jackets and legging ensembles that cost anywhere between US$2,000 and US$2,700 per piece.

Eye-catching accessories
From rings on rings to chunky Chanel chokers, Lipa is the queen of statement jewellery. She loves Milanese designer Bea Bongiasca’s neon-hued rings, earrings and chokers, which cost between US$500 to US$1,250 a pop. But the songstress also enjoys a more subtly extravagant accessory, like the US$138,000, 28-carat tennis bracelet that she wore on her birthday this year.

Swarovski manicures
When you’re wearing head-to-toe designer fashion, only the finest set of nails will do. Lipa has long been loyal to celebrity manicurist Michelle Humphrey (she has a standing appointment every one to two weeks), and has flaunted the nail artist’s incredible work on her Instagram on more than one occasion. When Lipa debuted this look back in November, however, it was next level. The blinged-out manicure featured hundreds of tiny Swarovski crystals painstakingly glued in place on each nail.

Eco-friendly luxury vehicles
After Lipa passed her driving test in 2018, this “It” girl needed a whip to match her lavish lifestyle. Instead of a gas-guzzling sportscar, however, the eco-conscious singer opted for a more earth-friendly option. Lipa bought a Jaguar I-Pace, the luxury brand’s first electric vehicle. This high-performance SUV comes fully loaded with all the bells and whistles that you’d expect from the iconic British carmaker, and costs a cool US$70,000 to US$80,000. She’s also been snapped driving around in a sportier Jaguar F-Type, which can cost upwards of US$100,000.

Her own charity
Raised between London and Kosovo, Lipa has always been vocal about remembering where she came from. In 2018, she donated €100,000 (US$120,000) to the Sunny Hill Foundation, a Kosovo-based charity she is patron to that provides help to those in need. The organisation has since expanded into a music festival, the Sunny Hill Festival, which has attracted A-listers like Miley Cyrus and Calvin Harris. The three-day show donates 25 percent of its ticket sales every year, according to Lipa, which has helped to support music and arts activities in Kosovo.
