Will Jeff Bezos be getting married on his Koru superyacht? His fiance, Lauren Sanchez, was spotted wearing a dainty ‘Mrs. B’ necklace while out with the Amazon founder. The $500 million vessel has already left Florida and could be scouting for an apt location in the Caribbean.

If anyone knows how to rattle the world with romance, it’s Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez. Not with their megayacht, the $500 million Koru, but with small acts of love that make big news. Lauren Sanchez was spotted with some new bling, not her mega-bauble 20-carat dazzler of an engagement ring, but an imperceptible nameplate necklace spelling out ‘Mrs. B.’ The crazy-in-love centibillionaire couple was spotted at the hotspot Nobu in Malibu on a dinner date on Wednesday evening. But it was the internet that got served, despite the fine golden and discreet letters of the ornament.

The 53-year-old helicopter pilot looked breathtaking, as always, in a subtle monochrome outfit that helped her little trinket shine. While the two are not married yet, in a recent interview with Vogue, Sanchez shared her excitement about taking on her husband’s last name, “Uh, yes, one hundred percent. I am looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos,” she said. It looks like she is well on her way.

The Amazon boss popped the question to a sleepy Sanchez at the start of their summer at sea. The 59-year-old Amazon founder hid the gigantic pink diamond ring under her pillow after a starlit dinner à deux. She found it at bedtime, “When he opened the box, I think I blacked out a bit,” Lauren reminisced.

The unassuming ladylove of the tech tycoon was swept off her feet on the world’s largest sailing yacht, Koru, which rules the high seas with towering triple masts reaching 230 feet – nearly half the size of the Great Pyramid of Giza. The monumental occasion couldn’t have taken place anywhere less iconic than the 416-foot Oceanco schooner. It also brings to mind the thought that while Bezos made the Mediterranean sojourn memorable for his fiancée, he may even choose it as the venue for their wedding in the United States. Koru arrived in the US nearly a week ago at the Port of Everglades.

The luxury vessel is so gigantic that it couldn’t be accommodated at the dock and had to be stationed next to gigantic oil tankers at the South Florida seaport. This kind of grandeur is hard to replicate in any other location, and Bezos is known to go big with his romantic gestures. It is also why the buff billionaire announced his move to Miami on Instagram, seeking proximity to fiancée Lauren. He left his home in Seattle after nearly 30 years to be with the love of his life.

His love nest in Miami is situated on Indian Creek Island, aka billionaire bunker. The tycoon owns a waterfront estate purchased for $79 million, adjacent to a second property he acquired this summer for $68 million. At the heart of the 2-acre estate sits a 19,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom mansion. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez got engaged in May 2023, and at this point, the wedding bells are ringing louder than even the Christmas bells. Will Koru finally be the venue of the wedding of the century in the breathtaking Bahamas or pristine St Barths? The Koru is currently cruising in the Caribbean Sea, per Marine Traffic, and only time will reveal what happens at the next destination.
