Team France will sport uniforms designed by LVMH-owned Berluti for the opening ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. This news follows LVMH’s announcement of a ‘premium partnership’ with the Olympics, which includes bringing luxury labels like Louis Vuitton and Dior on board to design Team France’s uniforms. Additionally, the high jewelry label Chaumet will produce the tournament’s winners’ medals. Berluti will fully outfit the French team for the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, scheduled for 26 July and 28 August 2024, respectively.
The team kits are designed to embody the modern spirit of French elegance. ‘Following our partnership announcement with Paris 2024 in July, I am delighted to reveal Berluti’s role alongside Maisons like Louis Vuitton and Dior. Our aim is to blend elegance with performance during the Opening Ceremonies. By leveraging Berluti’s passion and stylistic expertise, we want Team France, encompassing both Paralympic and Olympic delegations, to be proud ambassadors of their country, showcasing French elegance and the traditional savoir-faire prized by the Maison,’ stated Antoine Arnault, CEO of Berluti.
Renowned for its high-end menswear, the Maison will collaborate closely with Marie-Amélie Le Fur, President of the French Paralympic and Sports Committee; David Lappartient, President of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee; and Tony Estanguet, President of Paris 2024, to design an impressive 1300 outfits, as reported by Luxus.
