Hermès is known for their dedication to elevating everyday items using luxurious materials (and of course, by adding their brand name), and they are quickly developing their reputation as a company dedicated not only to fashion accessories but also homeware art objects. In this vein, Hermès has debuted an unexpected but welcome new item on their website: a foosball table priced at $68,300.
Staying true to their philosophy, the brand has updated the classic game using materials like Maple and Swift calfskin. As a nod to their equestrian heritage, the brand turned the players into Jockeys dressed in colorful jerseys, complete with riding boots. The table itself shows off some of the detail work that the maison is famous for including upholstery, saddle stitching, and polishing.
Is a $60,000 foosball table a must have for anyone? Definitely not, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t a multi-millionaire out there who wouldn’t love this upscale addition to his game room.
