If you’re going to be in Brooklyn on March 26, then you’re in luck. Thanks to a collaboration between Marc Jacobs and ridesharing service Uber, riders in Manhattan (below 59th Street) and in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg, Greenpoint and DUMBO neighborhoods can get around town in a car covered with hundreds of daisies featuring a customized soundtrack. The promotion runs for six hours between noon and 6pm.
They will also receive a full sized bottle of Marc Jacobs’ iconic Daisy fragrance. All that you have to do to get in on the action is use the promo code MJDAISY when you make your booking on the Uber app.
The promotion is called Daisy Daze and seems to be perfectly timed to coincide with the onset of spring when you’ll certainly be whipping out all of your floral fragrances. Uber told WWD that the number of bottles they will give away is not known but that Daisy Daze rides will be available throughout the promotion timeslot.
We hope Uber is well prepared for app crashes. Full sized bottles of exclusive fragrances don’t come easy and we predict that most of NY is going to be booking daisy covered cars for six hours on the allotted day.
