Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week ended on high note

The grand trendsetting event that glamorized New York for a whole week finally closed the curtains and doors. More than 100,000 buyers, sellers, designers, and spectators were a part of this successful event. This fashion week’s third season set the stage on fire with 98 designer runway shows and presentations. It was a treat for fashionistas who rely on these events to stock up their wardrobes for each season. Vivienne Tam, Carolina Herrera, Rebecca Minkoff, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein Collection, Vera Wang, and DKNY are just a few to name all the designers who wowed the fashion world creations. And apart from Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries, Lindsay Lohan, and Beyonce, we also spotted Mary-Kate Olsen, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Nicky Hilton, and Whoopi Goldberg. The event impacted the people directly involved with the fashion event. It also boosted the restaurants, hotels, and shops in the Lincoln Square area where it was held. A study estimated about $40 million of economic impact annually by businesses located in the five to ten-block radius surrounding the event location.
