The Louis Vuitton x Supreme collaboration seems like it happened ages ago, but the excitement just doesn’t end. From collector kids to Beyoncé herself, nobody can get enough of this epic partnership. And the capsule collection’s iconic trunk (which really represented the spirit of Louis Vuitton) that was originally priced at US$68,500 is now on sale online for an unbelievable $150,000.
The trunk, along with other items from the collection, has been put up for sale by Stadium Goods. Made from Gaboon wood trunk, it flaunts Louis Vuitton’s history and close association with travel trunks and features the red monogram that is characteristic of the collaboration. While the interior of the trunk includes a quilted cotton lining and linen canvas trays, the exterior boasts details like natural cowhide handles, lozine leather trimmings and golden brass lock finishings.
You might want to purchase this trunk if you have any spare change lying around, if not because you find the trunk itself appealing, then at least because it seems like some people will pay absolutely anything to own a piece of this collaboration. Perhaps LV x Supreme is the next big fashion investment after Birkins.
