Bang & Olufsen launches Beoplay E8 their first-ever true wireless sports earbuds


Danish high-end audio equipment manufacturer Bang & Olufsen has finally entered the lucrative wireless sports headphones market with Beoplay E8 Sport earbuds. The true wireless earphones the famous sound performance and craftsmanship Bang & Olufsen is known for, it also comes with specially created design details and features to match the needs of professional athletes. The Beoplay E8 Sport earphones are housed in a compact wireless charging case is constructed out of strong and corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum and covered with rubber and textured silicone. The earbuds have anodized aluminum ring and the etched Bang & Olufsen logo along with textured grip on the sides which makes them easy to adjust when wet. The wireless earbuds can switch between tracks, take calls, and activate Transparency Mode with a simple tap or swipe of the finger.

Beoplay E8 Sport has an IP57 certification, which guarantees dust and water protection at a depth of up to one meter for a period of 30 minutes. As far as battery life goes, fully charged earbuds are good for around seven hours of music. The case can completely charge the earbuds for additional 3.5 times. The wireless earbuds are compatible with Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codec and the drivers are powerful enough to reach a maximum volume of 107 dB. The Beoplay E8 Sport will be initially available in two colors of Oxygen Blue and Black and will go on sale from the 9th of July 9 with a price tag of US$350.
