McIntosh celebrated its 60th anniversary recently, and the theme happened to be retro. To mark this day, McIntosh Labs released the new MC75 tube amplifier (modeled after the original 1961 version) and the C22 preamplifier (modeled from the original 1962 version). The two upgraded classic home audio components in the “Classic Systems” limited release will definitely take your breath away. Boasting classic retro designs, both these audio devices, however, have been fitted with the latest internal enhancements for improved reliability.
The backlit glass and brushed anodized aluminum will definitely remind you of the good old by-gone days. These retro devices even feature a remote control for the preamp.
Limited to just 120 units, these retro devices will be available in the US.
