Porsche design has helped build the worlds largest outdoor television – Hidden underground when not in use the 201-inch screen unfolds and transforms into a screen in just 40 seconds.

A few months back, Austrian high-end TV maker C Seed expanded its product lineup by introducing the N1 folding TV series designed for indoor use. C Seed has followed it up with a new range of outdoor TVs that utilizes the brand’s out-of-the-box approach to elevate the level of entertainment to a whole new level. Touted as the world’s first foldable outdoor MicroLED TV, the new C SEED HLR TV continues the brand’s legacy by following in the footsteps of the award-winning C SEED 201 TV by Porsche Design Studio. Set to make its public debut at the upcoming CEDIA Expo 2022, the HLR TV strikes the perfect balance between jaw-dropping craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology.

Similar to the brand’s 201 TV, the new HLR TV stays hidden in a compartment box in a folded state when not in use. With the press of a button on its remote, the TV’s automated opening mechanism is activated. The process involves elevating the TV to a height of 2.5 meters which happens in just 15 seconds and then unfurling the massive MicroLED panels soundlessly to form a gigantic TV that takes another 25 seconds. C Seed says the display can be rotated 90 degrees left & right or 180⁰ in a single direction. Pressing back the button makes the five display screen submerge back into the compartment with the same ease.

As far as the technical specifications are concerned, the C SEED HLR TV is equally impressive. The Austrian brand claims the massive foldable TV can process image data up to 100,000 times per second which enables the TV to display 64 billion colors. Since it’s an outdoor TV unit, it has to be bright enough to function smoothly on bright, sunny days with harsh direct sunlight. The screen offers an exceptional luminosity of 4,000 nits along with a high refresh rate. Furthermore, the 1.9 and 1.6 mm pixel resolution ensures crystal clear, true color images. C Seed has said that the fordable MicroLED TF will be available in both 201-inch and 144-inch sizes; although the price is yet to be revealed by the company.
