Continuing their collaboration with St. Regis Hotels and Resorts, the luxury car company Bentley debuted their eponymous suite at the St. Regis Istanbul yesterday. The suite’s design is inspired by the Bentley Continental GT and aims to unite craftsmanship and luxury. The suite includes a living room and bedroom, one and a half baths, a dressing room and powder room along with a balcony overlooking Maçka Park that offers views of the Bosphorus and the city.
The entrance foyer boasts design elements like mirrored ceilings and a marble floor inset with a Continental wheel inspired design. In the living room, floor to ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the city while the inside is done up in cool neutrals. Unique touches are added via a bespoke built-in sofa crafted from Bentley leather and a light installation based on the Continental’s jeweled headlights.
The bar is inspired by the wings of a Bentley dashboard and its doors open to reveal three Breitling clocks, keeping time with Istanbul, London and New York. Items from Bentley’s home collection furnish the lavish suite and Bentley’s matrix grille is reimagined in wool and silk as an exquisitely crafted rug.
In the bedroom, a work desk will compete for your attention with a 40-inch pop-up television. A tailor-made bed base of burgundy hide and bright engine spin hosts an oversized signature St. Regis bed while an entry touch panel and portable iPad place room controls at guests’ fingertips.
Did you think that was it? Think again! The master bathroom features marble book-matched slabs to create a dramatic pattern that surrounds a dual-basin sink, glass-enclosed rainforest shower and freestanding glass-enclosed bathtub. There’s also a 19-inch mirror television and an adjoining dressing room for privacy. For music and movie aficionados, the suite boasts some pretty high end sound systems from Naim Audio.
This is the second Bentley suite we’re seeing and it stays true to the brand identity we saw at first Bentley suite in New York. We’ll be adding a week long vacay in this scintillating suite to our bucket list!
