This abandoned Boeing 737 jet has been transformed into a stunning holiday villa in Bali, complete with a glass-edged walkway and a swimming pool


If you’re an aviation buff searching for the next best holiday spot, look no further! Presenting to you ‘Private Jet Villa by Hanging Gardens Air’ – a new property in Bali that features an abandoned Boeing 737 as accommodation! Yes, you read that right!


Perched on a 150m- (492ft) high cliff near Nyang Nyang beach, the villa comes with a swimming pool and a glass-edged walkway on the wing of the plane. which partly hover over the cliff’s edge. The plane was originally owned by Indonesian company Mandala Airlines and was purchased by Russian entrepreneur Felix Demin after it ceased operations in 2014.

Demin then remodeled it to create the iconic villa that can be accessed via a wooden archway. Inside the accommodation, one can find two bedrooms furnished in neutral beige and stone tones, a living area, and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as two separate bathrooms.


The property further boasts a stylish stone tub located at the nose of the plane, a dedicated bar area, and manicured gardens, complete with a chic outdoor seating area with an L-shaped sofa and a fire pit, along with free Wi-Fi and free private parking.
