Dior creates their first Christmas tree for the Plaza Athénée

Dior is spreading the cheer this festive season! The Maison has created a lavish Christmas tree for the Plaza Athénée Hotel in Paris. This is the first time Dior has created such a display and we’re already dying to see it.

Designed by Cordelia de Castellane, the Creative Director of Baby Dior, the tree promises to have plenty of Dior’s signature classic style. The brand says that Castellane has reinterpreted their “codes” to decorate the tree which will occupy a place of pride in the hotel’s lobby. The five-meter tall tree will be embellished with quotes from Monsieur Dior and shimmering baubles not to mention a collection of bows and other decorations in elegant gold and white color scheme.

Below the tree, you’ll find, of course, a stash of presents complete with a medallion back chair and one of Baby Dior’s signature Gabriel teddy bears. The tree will be on display from December 15 until January 7th, so if you’re in Paris around Christmas, pencil a viewing of it into your itinerary.
