A 9-carat pink diamond ring is estimated to fetch $8 million


Last year, glory belonged to a pair of yellow diamonds. But this year it belongs to the color of love, pink. After discovering the biggest pink diamond, it’s time to turn our attention to the 9-carat pink diamond ring with an estimated price of $6 – $8 million. Christie’s New York will stage its Magnificent Jewels sale on April 17 with a stunning collection of 12 items of art deco jewelry and art objects from the estate of Huguette M. Clark, including the pink stunner. The collection totally estimates between $9 and $12 million. It also features a 19.86-carat rectangular-cut diamond ring and six other items, including bracelets, a flag brooch, and a Cartier desk clock.

The jewelry is part of the sale of Huguette Clark’s 907 Fifth Avenue residence. She was the youngest daughter of former United States Senator and industrialist William A. Clark and died in May 2011 at 104.
