Heading to Singapore soon? Your pet might actually have a better vacation than you! That is, if you’re prepared to spend close to $300 a night. The newly opened Wagington hotel in Dempsey Hill, Singapore is open to guests of the feline and canine variety and offers some pretty luxe services including spa treatments and gourmet meals.
The Wagington’s list of extravagant offerings continues with memory foam beds, a bone shaped swimming pool and spa/salon treatments including aromatherapy facials, massages, micro-bubble baths, mud packs and ‘pawdicures’ (which we assume are nail treatments). The gourmet in room menu features kangaroo, rabbit and frog meats. If you’ve upgraded your pet to the Royal suite, they’ll also be dazzled by a crystal chandelier while they strut around their 96 sq. ft room. Pets can also be entertained by canine themed movies on a 32 inch television.
The hotel’s amenities aren’t for everyone though, potential guests are checked for ticks and lice and undergo a temperament test to ensure they are not too aggressive.
We’d think twice before sending even our most prized pets to this spa getaway. What if they get used to this sort of royal treatment and expect it at home? Or worse, what if their spa is better than ours? The Junior Suites will set you back by around $90 a night while the Royal Suite is a staggering $280 per night.
