Singapore’s Changi Airport gets a Harry Potter-inspired makeover for the upcoming holiday season

Singapore’s Changi Airport is an architectural wonder and there are no two ways about it. While the hub in itself is worth a visit, you might get lured into visiting it right away if you are an ardent Potterhead! Keeping in line with the festivities of the season, parts of the airport have now been transformed into scenes from the latest Rowling movie: The Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts.

Consisting of four life-sized hubs, the festive décor includes replicas of the Hogsmeade Village, the Diagon Alley and the Whomping Willow of Hogwarts as well as the Newt Scamander’s Menagerie as recently seen in the Fantastic Beasts film. Spread over three terminals, the set-up includes make-do’s of the town’s most well-known shops such as Zonko’s Joke Shop, Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop as well as the Sweet Shop of Honeydukes. Other facades on the airport also showcase exclusives such as Madam Malkin’s Robes and Quality Quidditch Supplies along with an imitation of the classic Hogwarts Express.

Visitors are invited to try on the Harry Potter merchandise for themselves and capture a GIF photo of the same before a magical mirror booth. They can also partake in a game of Quidditch or snuggle and play around with an adorable giant-sized Niffler. The exclusive Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts exhibit will be open every day from 10 am to 10 pm until February 2019. Potterheads, it time to be Singapore bound!
