The world’s most expensive Fender guitar is up for $90,000

If music is the food for your soul, and money is not a criterion, then time to head over to Singapore, where the world’s most expensive Fender guitar is on sale at $90,000. The electric guitar is named “Midnight Opulence” and is encrusted with shimmering crystals, including diamonds, citrine, blue topaz, peridot, and emeralds. The fine silver and rose gold strings have been hand-hammered, with the jewelry and inlay made by Yuriy Shishkov from Russia. This is known as a Stratocaster and is best suited for playing the blues, classic rock, and jazz for the music-minded. However, you are up for some stiff competition because some 15 people have already shown interest in buying it!

Swee Lee Music Company brought the guitar from Los Angeles to Singapore after placing the winning bid at the National Association of Music Merchants. Company representative Aryadni Balfaghi said, “Some of the buyers are from the Brunei Royalties, Malaysian Royalties, and some international celebrities as well.”
