Under the stars or surrounded by lush greenery – Singapore’s Changi Airport is offering $300 a night luxury glamping tents

Half of the fun in traveling lies in spending time at airports. The fragrance, the chill ambiance, the aroma of food and the thrill of shopping begins at airports even before the actual fun of your destination commences. If you too are a lover of airports then one of the best in the world, Jewel Changi Airport has big plans to satisfy that year-end wanderlust. The renowned and beautiful airport has recently opened up its scenic attractions to host overnight staycations. Beginning November 20 to January 3, guests will get a chance to camp in a glamorous tent furnished with modern comforts like an air cooler, blankets, sleeping pillows, toiletries, and even a queen or single-sized bed to snooze away comfortably. There are two fantastic locations to choose from- Glamp-cation in the Clouds at the Cloud9 Piazza, the highest floor of Jewel, or Glamp-cation at Shiseido Forest Valley surrounded by 900 trees and palms, and 60,000 shrubs. No matter the choice of your location, the tents are roomy and can fit three adults, or two adults and two children comfortably. An overnight stay in a tent requires certain clarifications on naturally-occurring happenings of our body, for which arrangements like shower facilities and more are available at Changi Lounge or YotelAIR, depending on the location of the glamping site. The glamp-cation fun is enhanced with perks like Canopy Park tickets, admission to the Changi Experience Studio or Manulife Sky Nets, free parking, and more.

For those who are not keen on spending the night here, there is an equally exciting daytime-only experience available. You and a bunch of friends can get together to relax in an air-conditioned tent located on the Cloud9 Piazza. Bring your food but amenities of table cloth, disposable cutleries, cooler box, and cushion seats will be provided. Prices for the Glamp-cation in the Clouds and Glamp-cation at Shiseido Forest Valley experience start from $320 on weekdays, and $360 on weekends.
