Hone your driving skills on ice with Bentley’s winter driving experience in Finland

If you find the usual track-day at the nearby racing circuit too mainstream and want something exciting, something that’s absolutely bonkers, then Bentley’s Power on Ice driving experience is just the thing you have been looking for. Every winter, the luxury automaker gives a unique opportunity to auto enthusiasts across the world to experience extreme driving on selected frozen lakes on the edge of the Arctic Circle in Finland. For 2014, Bentley has not only extended the event, which will now take place from February 6 through March 6, 2014, but also added the Bentley Flying Spur luxury saloon to the program.

On the three luxury travel packages, the automaker charters a private flight to take its customers from Helsinki to northern Finland, near the Russian border. The rarely visited collection of frozen lakes is shoveled and plowed into racecourses designed by four times world rally champion Juha Kankkunen. A team of extreme driving instructors under the supervision of Kankkunen helps the participants hone their driving skills on the ice at the helm of W12- and V8-equipped Bentleys. In addition to the driving experience, the package also offers other activities, including a husky sled safari, smoke sauna, snowmobiling, and dinner at a reindeer farm.
